Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you andSpider Service SRL ("we", "us"), the developer of Flight Mode Map. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Licence

These Terms are the licence agreement for your use of the app, whichever store you installed from. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use, subject to these Terms and the app store's terms.

On Apple devices the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) applies in addition: Apple Standard EULA.

Purchases, payment and refunds are governed by the terms of the store you installed from.

Not for navigation

Flight Mode Map is for passenger information and entertainment only. Position, speed, heading, altitude, distance and arrival time are estimates from your phone's sensors and can be wrong or unavailable. Never use the app to navigate, to operate an aircraft or vehicle, or for any safety decision, and always follow the crew's instructions.

Maps

Maps are provided by Mapbox and its data sources (© Mapbox, © OpenStreetMap contributors, and © Maxar for satellite imagery). Downloaded maps are stored on your device for offline use and expire after a limited time; download them again before a later flight.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe others' rights while using the app;
  • reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app;
  • remove or hide the map attribution, or interfere with the app's security.

Subscriptions and purchases

The app is free to download. Pro unlocks the features described in the app before purchase and is available as a subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through your Apple or Google account. A lifetime purchase is a single payment that unlocks Pro for as long as the app is offered. For subscriptions:

  • The title, length, and price of the subscription are shown before you buy.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the disclosed price unless you cancel: on the App Store at least 24 hours before the period ends, on Google Play before the renewal date.
  • You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple or Google account settings, not in the app.
  • Where offered, a free trial's length and the price after it are disclosed before you start; unused trial time is forfeited if you buy during the trial.

Payments are handled by Apple or Google under their terms; refunds are subject to their policies.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the app over time. If you breach these Terms, your licence ends. You can stop using the app at any time.
